 GHome Smart - Mini Smart Plug

As technology advances, our everyday lives are made more accessible. One hundred years ago, people were amazed by the advancements in inside plumbing, running water, and refrigeration. Technology that would have been borderline science fiction for those in the early twentieth century is almost anticlimactic today. As time progresses, technology will always be making changes to benefit us. 

A piece of technology that has tremendously been beneficial for me is GHome Smart's mini smart plug. When struggling with back problems, I found reaching the switch on my tall lamp in my bedroom difficult. To prevent strain on my back, I began researching products to fix my problem. I came across GHome's mini smart plug on Amazon and immediately knew I had to have it. 

The mini smart plug is a simple product and easy to use. Once plugged into an outlet, you connect the mini smart plug to your app through Bluetooth—the plug works with the Gosund APP, Amazon Alexa, Smart Life APP, and Google Assistant. 

Although I have yet to try using the mini smart plug through Alexa, I have the product linked to the Gosund app. The app lets you turn the plug on and off, set timers and countdowns, and control all your GHome products.  The best aspect of the product is the timer. For someone who struggles to wake up in the morning, having my light turn itself on keeps me somewhat accountable. Another benefit is that you can control the plug from anywhere. If I need to check if I turned my light off before I left home, I can check the app and turn it off from wherever I am. Multiple people in your household can also control the mini smart plug, so the product is not designated to one person. 

An essential aspect of all of GHome's products is the company's safety measures to protect your home. You do not need to worry about the smart plug short-circuiting or causing a fire in your home. The product is also made of yellow-resistant material to keep the product's clean look. 

I have found the mini smart plug extremely helpful and recommend it to everyone. You can use the product with any device, and controlling the plug with Alexa and Google Assistant is a plus. Although all of the company's products are similar, I look forward to purchasing more from GHome in the future. According to GHome:

Today, new technological advancements may be helpful but not consistently mind-blowing; however, the products are worthy of purchase. For example, a product used for simple tasks such as turning a light on and off benefits people in many ways. The mini smart plug benefited my health, and although I am better, the product has become a luxury.
